Based on more than 3,000 interviews over the course of the past three weeks among likely voters in the key battleground states that will settle the Electoral College, this report shows Barack Obama leading John McCain by 9 points (51 to 42 percent) and significantly over performing Democrats’ 4-point edge on party identification.
